Forms and Fees

All forms and fees must be completed prior to the player competing in games or practice.


  • Attendance is required at all practices.  

  • Attendance is required at all games.

  • If the player is on multiple basketball teams, the FYBBC team must be the priority team.

  • The parent/guardian is responsible for communicating with the head coach prior to missing practice or game.

  • Failure to adhere to attendance requirements should result in lost playing time or being asked to leave the program.  


Player Attitude / Conduct
  • Players are expected to treat coaches, teammates, opposing team players and referees with respect. FYBBC expects that our players represent the program and the Franklin community with honor and dignity.  Anything less will not be tolerated.   

  • Disciplinary action will follow:  

    • First Offense: a verbal warning to participant and notification to the parent/guardian.

    • Second Offense: a written warning to participant and parent/guardian.

    • Third Offense:  removal from the FYBBC basketball program.


Parent Participation/Conduct
  • Parents are expected to represent the FYBBC and the Frankin community with respect and dignity.  FYBBC coaches, opposing coaches, referees, and players are to be treated with respect. 

  • Parents are expected to allow the FYBBC coaches to coach the team and to refrain from coaching their child from the sidelines. 

  • All questions or concerns should be discussed with the head coach.  If concerns or issues are identified in a game situation, the parent is asked to wait for a 24 hour cooling period, in which to gain perspective, prior to reaching out to the coach. If a satisfactory resolution is not achieved, parents are encouraged to reach out to the president of the FYBBC or a member of the FYBBC Board.  

  • Failure to comply with the above requests may result in the player being asked to leave the program.
